‘I Won’t Remain Alone’ running at Thessaloniki doc fest

Iranian short doc ‘I Won’t Remain Alone’ has been going on screen at the 23rd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival (TDF) in Greece.

Directed by Yasser Talebi for five years, the film follows the story of Sorayya and Seyyed-Jalal, an underprivileged old couple who live in a distant village in the north of Iran.

‘I Won’t Remain Alone’ paints pictures of forgiveness, love, humanity and immortality.

Also set to go on screen at the Parnu International Documentary Film Festival in Estonia and the Regina International Film Festival & Awards in Canada, the documentary was shown at the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Japan.

The TDF is a part of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, celebrating global independent cinema and screening the best films from all over the world.

The 23rd edition of the TDF has been slated for June 24-July 4, 2021.
